I know a lot of guys with MJs (comamchies) who swap out there foot brake with an XJ hand brake. I'm not sure why u prefer the foot brake but it can be dune. And it is a custom touch I haven't seen. Wouldn't like it but that's just me. Nothing wrong with standing out and doing ur own thing.

There is a lot of wiring and fuses above the drivers side kick panel.

If you could fab up a mounting sytem for the foot pedal and run the steel cable for the parking brake then yes it can be done.

Maybe the MJ pedal assembly and cable would be the easiest way to do this?

If u have an 84-95 xj it would pretty much be a bolt in. And u can grab the center cuncle piece to so it could look factory.

dont really get the need to move the e-brake. the console is normally the more desired place.

but if you really want to change things up to something un-common. why not swap to a column shifter also. they were used on the service XJ's like the police packages.

unfortunately i dont have really any good pics of the shifter in my 93 police package, but you can kind of see it in these pics,

An MJ would be another place to get a column swifter. I don't like those eather but they are rare. I'm not sure how to make it work with a 91+ with the wiring being diff.
