Every time I take a corner left or right, I get a popping sound from front end. It sounds like it is coming from the wheel wells but I cant point it out. It started off front just when I turned right it came from the left wheel well but now it has grown to a left or right. I kinda has the pop sound as if it had a locker in it but it doesnt. I have checked the track bar ends and the U-joints and haven't found anything. Could it be coming from the Control arm bushings?
This is starting to get very upsetting.

track bar and mounts
edit: i jumped the gun a bit, my bad. To be honest though thats the most common issue to make that sort of noise. There may still be something wrong with the track bar.

Get a cheap grease gun. I had the same problem so I packed the Track Bar Bushings with lube and it went away. Once a month grease everything.

Thanks for the replys guys! I think I may have left one important thing out. When I looked at it the other day, on the upper trac bar mount, the second bolt the mounts it to the frame was 1/2 the way out. I think this may be the problem but I tryed to tighten this bolt but it didn't seem to move at all. I have grease almost everything that has a zerk. The stock u-joints don't have any, problems in the future? Back to that bolt, I sprayed it with WD-40 to see if I may be able to break it free from the 12 years of corrosion. Tomorrow Ill get under it and see if I can get it tightened up. I hope that fixes the issue. If not I'm back to being lost.
Edit: Would a trac bar problem cause the wheels to skip if the wheels are at full turn? The skip if its at a complete full turn, left or right.

I have the same prblem too.. what I'm thinking it is it could be the control arm. The bolt that goes through it is not wide enough to close the gap in the eye, so the control arm is getting a little bit of play and that's the thumping sounds you could be hearing. Maby??

Did you say you have stock Ujoints in that 12 y.o rig? Are you sure they dont have any play?

I found that both my U-joints are pretty tore up. I must have not yanked on them enough the first time but I found that both are in horribe condition. I uploaded a video to show you guys.

WD-40 is NOT a penetrating oil or lubricant. Get some PB Blaster. Pet Peeve....
