Default Poly Tranny mount?

Will a poly trans mount make the Jeep vibrate more due to being more solid? 97 XJ 4.0

Thanks

I just ordered a poly mount to replace my stock one due to a grinding/ rattling sound coming from down there on acceleration. Are the vibes from a poly mount that severe? What are the benefits (if any) of polyurethane?

Sorry, dont mean to thread jack

The vibrations aren't that bad really. But after I put it in I understood why everyone said they cause more vibrations than the OE rubber mount.

Ok cool. i just dont want to replace the mount to get rid of the rattling and then have the vibes be worse than the rattling lol

Polyurethane can dry rot faster than the OE rubber if you dont put a nice layer of white lithium grease on it.
