Its really abusive on alot of the front end parts.
I once read somewhere you aren't suppose to mount plows to early 2000s F150s because it would chew up ball joints like crazy. Only recommended doing to F250 super duties.
If you used a smaller, non-metal blade plow it'd be better for the truck.

Depends on what you are doing also, a short driveway for yourself, should be fine, a long one or doing it for money, not such a good idea.

This is an old pic of my 92, but I currently have this plow on my 98. Its smaller and lighter than a regular plow but it works well.
