i heard it was too much weigh for a XJ. itll cause youll front end to sag and wear out parts too. its worth getting a truck that already has a plow mounted to it and using that than putting one on an XJ.

plus why would you want to plow snow with a XJ, you should want to take it out and play in the snow

My Dads F250 plow would rape my xj straight up jail style..But my uncles plow wouldnt. Its only about 5 ft long and its made out of fiberglass and its super light. He has it on his tj (i think) and it does just fine

never knew they made fiberglass plows. probably wouldnt do too much harm to an XJ but who knows how much a fiberglass plow will cost.

I gave $100 for my plow, I found it on Craigslist and
I've been pushing snow with mine for 2 years now and I don't have any problems. I bought a 7' fiberglass plow because there light and I use a 9,000lb warn winch to raise and lower it.

I had a plow on my cherokee for over 10 years...It was bough new in 99, and shortly after a plow was put on it, it did just fine, the front end is fine, springs and all that are fine, however I am selling my plow mount because I decided to go a different route with my xj and want a different bumper. It is a really simple install. If anyone here is interested in it PM me, I am in northwest Indiana.
It is a western universal, im looking to get best offer or trade on it, its just taking up space and am looking for funds/parts to build my xj.
