Ok so I have dumped WAY more into this jeep than I ever should have and at this point I just need to keep going. So after a all new floor front to back, crate engine, rebuilt trans, suspension work, fuel system excluding new tank and lines I finally pull my 94 xj out of the garage. No heater whatsoever. Fan doesn't kick on at all. First I check the fuses none are blown. Since I have a dash control assembly from a doner (I was told it was a common part that goes bad so I stock piled one a while ago) I pull mine to see if it is bad. Good news there was a strong hiss when I disconnected the vac assembly so I am confident no leak there. Plug is the spare no change. I can't see both of them being bad so I move on. Pull blower motor plug and put multimeter on it and turn key one. No power going to the blower so I am hoping it is still good. I pulled the heater control module expecting to see one of the coils broke but they look good other than some rust around the connectors. Is there away to test this? What should the resistance be across it? What else could be wrong with this pos? I need it to have heat since I live in Michigan and I would love to cut my losses with this but I will never get anywhere near enough out of it to cover what I have in the engine and trans alone. I am losing my mind on this thing and can't figure it out. Any help on what might be causing the loss of power to the blower would really help.

Check for voltage at the motor and start working your way back.

I would say if you do not have any voltage at the fan then you might have a bad blower relay. The rest goes to ground. Goes from + to the blower relay to the motor, then through the rest of the controls to ground. You might check the 15 amp fuse that goes to the relay.Originally Posted by Mcwille117
