Yes 2wd xj still use a solid front axle its just hollow on the inside and doesnt have a pumpkin, mainly just a solid front tube.

It uses the same suspension as the 4wd and will bolt right up most manufactures like skyjacker show the lift work for 4wd and 2wd for the same kit, you might not see it on alot of websites becuase 2wd xj are rare and most just think of 4wd when it comes to a jeep.

Here a link to show you what i mean

Are there any other brands aside from Skyjacker that offers lift products which will fit both 2WD and 4WD?

Yes any xj 4wd lift kit that consists of springs or spring spacers and rear AAL's or full springs will fit.

Above 3" some kits will come with more then is needed like transfer case drop kit which inst needed on 2wd

The problem with cheap lifts are the blocks, add a leafs, helper springs, whatever you call them. The real solution is a full leaf pack, more expensive, but far better for the money in the end. If you don't get leaf packs now, you will later, so it's up to you!!

I bought that very same lift on e-bay, and mine came with all you are saying except mine came with lift blocks or add a leaf for the back, "do the add aleafs alittle more work but worth the effort",and new u bolts, the u bolts where a tight fit but with a little persuasion they will go in.
persuasion= A 2 pound ball penn hammer, "if it breaks it needed replacing anyway".
Just kidding, they will go by just your own hand persuasion.
Just a little mechanic humor, gets boring in shops without a liittle humor.
A little advice, buy or rent at autozone a strut spring compressor, makes the job a lot eaiser.
Not a coil spring compressor but a strut spring compressor.
Harbor freight sells them pretty reasonable.
