Ok it was a vacum leak. the hard line from the throttle boddy to the map sensor thing on the fire wall had a2 cracks in it in thbend. replaced it with soft line and runs like a champ again.

I know that it may sound odd but try replacing the battery, mine would idle at 250 or 300 rpms and would stall out if i didn't feather the gas just rite. Sounds just like your symptoms, and this happens when my battery is bad, or if I kill the battery by leaving lights on so just give it a try, it worked for me.
