Default PLEASE HELP! 97 Cherokee Sport Stability Problem?

I just purchased a 1997 Cherokee Sport. I'm noticing while driving you feel every bump in the road and the steering is a little all over the place. I can keep it straight but it's kinda loose...

Today I was going down a hill and hit some bumps. The rear end started bouncing around and swaying back and forth...I almost wrecked. PLEASE HELP!

Steering stabilizer? Strut bar? What should I check? Thanks!

Apparently the shocks and struts are practically brand new. It has a towing package and the previous owner put on towing shocks that can withstand 1,200 lbs before giving. There was a lot of work done to the Jeep so I'm not sure of everything. I guess I should just have it checked out? I'm just a little scared to drive it right now lol

It almost sounds like you hit some washboard like on a gravel road,I would take a real good look at it and make sure the bushings are good, swaybars are hooked up,tires are inflated properly, etc.
