plastic axle seal
what is the name of the 2piece plastic seal on the front axle behind the u joint i have a 92 2 door with out disconnect. and is it important . mine broke when i took it off to do u joint

Its not really a seal but a slinger to keep mud/crud out of the axle tubes. The D-30 seals are inboard at each side of the diff housing(on a non-CAD axle)
They are $3 at Quadratec However they might be one piece and you will have to pull the shafts to install, 30 min job at most.
