Piston shaking

So my jeep sounds like a diesel firing up. I have a block ready to rebuild. Will a thick diesel oil keep the noise Down and make it last for like 2 months?

Maybe... Hard to say without knowing what exactly is causing the noise. Dump in some 15w40 and baby her.

No. It's probably just slack up in your valvetrain.

It quietens down once full oil pressure gets to it.

Drive it.
