Lastly, how long should I drive with the quart of MMO in there before I do an oil change? I seem to be finding mixed answer about that. I do a good amount of highway driving... about 300 miles a week just for work. Last oil change was 1,200 miles ago.
Just a good quick trip.

You can leave the MMO in as long as you like. Monitor your engine oil color along the way. It's gonna get dirty fairly fast as the MO and Rotella dissolve the gunk.

Cool. As always, thanks! I'll make this happen this weekend.

I think my final question is... does MMO work fast, or will I have to run it a few times before I can run just Rotella again? I figure it all depends, but I'm just curious to when I should (hopefully) notice the affects.

Thanks again. I'll be sure to report back.

Default Small update

Well, I wasn't able to put any MMO in or do the steam clean this past weekend. Was running around all day Saturday with the lady. Then I had a ridiculous amount of yard work to take care of on Sunday, and then finally I ended up getting sick Sunday night throughout all day yesterday. Unfortunate series of events. Thought I had all weekend to do what i needed, but not the case.

I did however, replace my oil filter, as I think the Rotella alone is cleaning **** out, and my oil pressure dipped a little (did a LOT of driving Saturday). Put a new one on and it's back to normal.

She's driving really nice though. It's just at start up that it's clacky. I feel like it has to be a sticky lifter. Plan is to put some MMO in when I get close to another oil change. I think I'll run it for a week before I do a change, and see what happens.
