While replacing the heater core on my 87 XJ, it appears these wires slipped out of place. They are located in front of the blower on the lower right on the passenger side.



There are 4 wires: blue, green, tan and white with a orange spliced into it.

The green one was the only one still attached so I put them back based on how they appeared easiest to attach. From right to left on top is blue, green and white. The tan one is underneath.

Is this right? What are these wires for? It appears they attach to the back of the heat/air control unit and have something to do with the hi/lo roller switch.

They are for your heater control relay. Sorry but I have no idea what order they go in since it looks like someone cut off the original plug and put after market connectors. Hopefully some one will know what order they go for you.
BTW, I wouldn't try to run it until you get the correct order. You don't want to fry anything.
