You can put it back in but since the stock unit is a fixed length it will kick the axel out to one side. You have to get an adjustable one, make an adjustable one, or re-drill the hole where it mounts.

Exactly. I believe I am at the edge of what you can get away with re-drilling. I am going to try to re-locate the stock track bar, but have been putting it off while trying to find a used adjustable one. :-) It drives fine but I do notice the difference when turning right and left as it tracks differently.
