Does anybody know if there are any differences in petrol models and diesel models suspension? I've seen a polybush kit for sale for a petrol and was wondering would it fit my 2.5 turbo diesel cherokee sport model? thanks for any help!

 

I am not sure this will answer. Most things on xjs are the same,except when it comes to drivetrain,different motors have different tranys depending on the year they were built,but suspension is more than likley the same,What I do that works is go online and check for the part I want and see if it is the same,for example your jeep vs a 94 jeep,it will tell you if the parts interchange.

They were sold here with the renault in 85-87,and the vm turbo diesel was never sold here but was still being used to 2001,outside the us.
The 2.1 actually only had about 85hp and 130 ftlbs of torgue,the vm which was a 2.5 was much better around 140hp and 200lbs torgue.

yea i'll try cross referencing and see what i can find.
yea the torque is good with the diesel.
only poblem is parts are hard to get for them here in ireland.
i also need a front drive shaft the longer one for the rhs.
so i need to find out if they are the same as any of the petrol ones too.
