Waste of money b/c the computer will try to compensate for the corrections the chip makes. I have heard that they decrease fuel mileage too.

Is that true of all chips or just this brand?

As far as I have been able to determine all chips used in Cherokees. It is the short coming of the computer type that Jeep uses.AFAIK

I put one of those chips I got from ebay and I get about 30 mpg and got about 40+ hp and it only cost me $20.00. Just Kidding! I know that was a load of crap just like those chips.

Correct. You can only fool the computer for so long. Eventually it re-learns its fuel curve and renders that chip useless. It's just a matter of time.
