ive got some pics of my TPS but everywhere ive gone no one has them in stock some dont even list the same TPS as mine.

wow I just looked at 4 parts web sites and no one has a TPS listed for your jeep...Might be one of those parts you can't find and may need to contact the dealer.. Your jeep is a 1 barrel carb so I am surprised it has a TPS..

That's because it's not a TPS, its a Throttle Solenoid. The OEM P/N is going to be either 8350-0466 or 8350-2116. Your local parts house should be able to cross-reference it to an aftermarket part.

You could in a desperation situation. But like any 23 year old electric selenoid, it had better be CHEAP. They would corrode up and stop moving back and forth. Chances are a junkyard one would do the same thing.

Most J/Ys are looking to put a vehicle that old in a crusher anyway b/c they can't waste the space when the parts are not in demand. So even finding a 85 anything is going to be a challenge in itself.

that is very true it sucks trying to find parts for an 85 at the JY
