Default Peobably soumds like a retard question butttt..

What is the difference between all the axles/gears brands and numbers? is it just the size's? Is the bigger the better or does certain sizes go with different tires or what? sorry for how dumb the question probably is

no dumb questions
its a learning process the axle doesn't have alot to do with the tire size so much as gearing
and the numbers are more to identify which is which all you need to know is stay away from dana 35
the search menu is a good thing figure that out an your golden

if you mean "3.55", etc it is the gear ratio.
3.55 means for every 3.5 turns of the driveshaft the axle will rotate one time. 4.11 is the same thing, for every 4.1 turns of the driveshaft, the axle will rotate once.
Higher gear ratios are required for bigger tires, as more torque is required.

let me ask you something. are you just curious about what gear size numbers mean, or are you trying to find a gear combination for a certain axle and tire size?

Not to nit pic but lower gears (numerically higher) are required for bigger tires.
