Angry PCV/CCV valve insertion??

I am replacing my rear pcv/ccv valve and I got the old one out, (it pulled out with the rubberbushing attached to it.) i ended up breaking it into pieces to get the old one out of the bushing. I put the new one in the bushing now I can't get them both back on the valve cover. Any tips or something to get this thing back in?

Do yourself a favor and get a new CCV Grommet (or bushing as you call it). You can get them at just about any auto parts store for a few bucks. For example, at Autozone, the part number is 42344
