Default 1990 Renix - Help me identify this hose

Man, I can't find my diagrams anywhere. Take a look at this pic... the green hose (Vacuum line?) has broken. I don't even know what to call it to find a replacement at Rock Auto. Could someone tell me what it's called?

Would appreciate knowing what that whole bundle is... most of my vacuum wires/hoses/harnesses are old and dry/brittle. I want to replace it all if I can.

So, can you help?

Does it run to your heater control valve? I believe it has a nipple on the black cylinder part, but you are zoomed out enough that I can't see what is where.

I can't recall, off-hand, and I'm at work at the moment, so I'll need to check back later with the answer to that question, sir!

You might be better off going somewhere you can buy cut to fit rubber hoses then trying to figure out the name of that. Just break it off at both ends and find a hose that you can just slip over it.

That vacuum line runs to the vacuum canister, at least it does on my RENIX.

My vacuum canister is still located behind the headlight.

Would anyone know the diameter? It's a plastic line, not a soft line.

.125 for the ID
.157 ish for the OD.

A soft line should be a suitable replacement. The vacuum being drawn isn't so strong that it would collapse the line. Having said that, my hard lines are 25 yrs old and I wouldn't mind replacing the set, so if you find them for sale somewhere, post a link, if you would.

No I don't but that's also another reasons to go with the soft line it may get pinched but at least it won't break as easy. Just take a piece into the auto store and they could size it for you. That is if you plan on replacing them with the soft stuff
