I had some holes due to rust so I patched them up for free!!! I had a ton of license plates just sitting around so I put them to good use. After riveting them down I put a small bead of silicone to keep the weather out. What do ya think?

Cutting out the damaged metal is always better and welding in new.
but hey if it works, it works.

 

Yup. I am cheap! This is just a temporary fix of course... Just found a new pan to go in the front. Hopefully I can get that and put that in soon.

 

Want to find something better.
Go find a "unused" no parking sign.
Street signs are some tough last forever metal.
