I have just bought a 97 cherokee 143k and the passenger window does not go up or down luckly its already up. The switch is lighting up so i know the switch is getting power but not sure how i can narrow down the problem and fix it. Some people told me replace the master switch on drivers side should fix the problem. Just looking for some imput on where you guys would start or have had same problem and fixed it thanks.

 

May have to take the passenger door panel off and see if you have voltage at the motor. If so, may need a new motor... Just a thought.

 

take the panel off and see if the connection is good to the motor and do as stated above and see if power is getting to the motor.
