Default Passenger Side Oil Leak

It's not the sending unit nor the oil filter adaptor. I have a leak concentrated around the passenger side above those both. The valve cover gasket has also been replaced. Could it be the dip stick? I'm going to work on it tomorrow... but any ideas?

are you absolutely sure its not the oil filter adapter? it wont be the dipstick tube, maybe its where the dizzy mounts? theres not much else on that side of the engine.

best bet is to degrease it very well and track the leak down, shouldnt be that hard on that side of the motor.

There is a gasket around the distributor.

Thanks for replying. It's not the distributor, either. Here's a photo. Right outside the red line is clean.

ok, well it looks like there is oil all over that one spark plug wire. so im thinking that the spark plug is loose, and u have bad rings and oil is getting in the combustion chamber and out the spark plug. it could also be that u have pressure building up in ur crank case and it could be blowing out the top of the dipstick which would mean u got a bad PCV valve

Looks like it was a heater hose that one of the previous owners had used for a bend in the air system. It was pinched, building up pressure out through the dipstick. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Jeepjunky.

It seemed to be restricting the engine from breathing (at the air cleaner assembly).
