More info needed. Is it getting wet when you go wheeling? When it rains and you're Jeep is parked? Driving down the road in the rain? There area few possibilities on this and more info will help narrow it down.

my roof leaks onto the floorboard right above the windshield. Is your headliner wet?

Try looking under the jeep there is a rubber drain plug, it may have dry rotted. My 91 had a wet passenger side, that plug was gone and when it rained a lot water would splashup through that. Just a suggestion. Is there standing water or just wet carpet.

Also check the door jam weather stripping, The bottoms rot out a lot and water running down will get in.

On my 96 two door XJ I found water in the vehicle front passenger floor area after running through a car wash. For me there was a windshield leak.

I took it to an auto glass place and paid them to remove and reinstall the windshield. I knew this shop and knew it would be done right.

So I helped the guy cut out the windshield and what we found when it was out blew my mind.

There was two different colors of sealant around the window. My glass guy said someone installed the windshield without properly prepping the flange. Supposed to remove all the old sealant, clean and prime the flange then install the windshield with all new sealant.

Because of how the previous owner did the install there was actually three leaks, and subsequently a small amount of rust.

Best way to seal a leaking windshield is to pull it out and reinstall it properly.

I stopped looking for mine after about a year of shearching for it. Good luck. I simply removed the carpet and lined the floors. Didn't fix the problem, just made it easier to clean up after.

Mine was coming out of the heater box where the blower motor is, the foam gasket where it bolts to the firewall $35.04 from the dealer. You have to pull the box out, have the A/c discharged and then recharge afterwards.
