Part Time and Full Time 4wd

What is the difference between these two settings and what is each good for? I can't feel a difference when driving I don't think..

Full time is somewhat like AWD, such that you can use it on pavement due to a differential action in the transfer case.
Part time 4wd is meant for loose and slippery surfaces, never for hard pavement.
Check the back of your drivers side sunvisor for more information.

Part time is pretty nuch same as 4 hi on a 231 it should only be used on dirt sand and lose pavement it puts 50 50 power to the wheels and full time you can drive on the street with just like all wheel drive

Okay so here in the NW when there's snow on the roads I should have it in FT and when I'm in the hills hunting I should have it in PT? What about for mudding?
