Default Part Identify?

So this is probably pretty stupid but I don't know what this is on the roof of my 96 Cherokee?

I've seen on the jeep build pages that people will put fog light switch is up here and I didn't know what this was or what the repercussions would be of me removing it

Sensor for the key fob. Should be no problem removing it, but don't quote me on that. You would just have no more remote functions. Unless you re-mount it somewhere close.

Sensor for the key fob. It blinks when activated. A deterrent for would be intruders. The only way I would remove it, is to install a overhead console.

I yanked mine out of the 95 I had, no problems. Installed a turret mounted machine gun on top to deal with the black copters and crown vics

Someone got rid of it...you *can* get new ones depending on how ambitious you are.
