Default painting wheels

i have a stock set of aluminum wheels i was wondering if there was a paint that wouls stick to them besides powder coating them

Rustolem Rust tuff satin black is what i used,i also did a set of stock steel wheels with bedliner paint, its in my build thread ,they turned out real well ,I liked them but got a set of d-windows for 80.00.Just prep them good,Steel wool works good

Clean them off with a rag soaked in lacquer thinner and wipe dry with a clean rag to get everything nasty off, and scuff it with steel wool should do just fine.

Wheels usually look good flat black. That way they don't show many imperfections either.

I was going to make mine shiny though. I may regret that later.

if ur clearcoat is flaking should u use muriatic acid to remove the clearcoat? just wanted to make sure. i have some 01 wrangler rims
im gunna paint rustolem hammered texture. but just wanna do it once.
haha.

i painted mine with john deere blitz black paint . to prep them i used scotch brite pads and scruffed the up good then primed them. idk if bedliner would look good and it would be tough to get the dirt off

heres the end look between gloss and flat and they have held up great key thing to it was prep
