hey. gonna be taking in my jeep for inspection. i was wondering what would be some good things to check. i have to make a mount for my air intake. but what should i check so i dont end up spending 2000000 dollars to get her fixed.
Any OEM installed lights need to work.
Very other light works...brake, signal, flasher, marker, license plate...
Wipers function.
No OBD codes.
Gas cap doesn't leak.
Exhaust is working and all there.
Tires are covered - flares if sticking past body
Tire are not worn too badly.
Brakes function properly and have life left.
Do yourself a favor and get the inspection done at a Jeep "friendly" place.

Battery hold down, no holes in body bigger than a quarter, no cracks in windscreen in drivers view. Fog lights must be mounted below stock headlights, not be over 55 watts, and not be closer together than 13". Any other aftermarket lights must be covered with an opaque cover.
