Hi everyone, I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with 145k on it. This morning I got the following check engine light codes, P1698 and P0622. Alternator is 3 years old, and tested within specs. Battery was 3 years old, and tested bad so I swapped in a new one. Still have the check engine for the same codes. Jeep runs fine, before the check engine light came on I took it on a 2 hour round trip drive with no issues. Any ideas?

Currently only have the p1698 code. Going to clean grounds, hit them with some electrical cleaner and re set ecu. What’s strange is I still have all the gauges, the Jeep seems to be shifting fine etc.

Cleaned the grounds, and reset ecu and drove it for about 20 min, no check engine light yet! Fingers crossed it stays gone
