Hello y'all. New here and wanting to see if any of you know what's up
About a month ago. i had some stalling/no pedal response. It happend for one day and never came back. No CEL
Then two weeks ago it happend again. Decided to replace TPS(Mopar) and CPS(NAPA), cleaned throttle body. The issue still happened
Went to Advanced to scan codes. Received a P0740. I went to AAMCO the next day. They said it was not Transmisson related. They didn't get a P0740 after some tests or whatever. They did get a P1698. Jeep drove fine
Took Jeep to another shop for testing. They cleared code P1698 and Jeep drove fine on their test drive. After that I went to go scan again and only the O2 code came about.Later that day the problem arose again. Thats after I reset the ECM.
Flash forward to today. The Jeep drove fine to the JY. Was able to use cruise control
Jeep drove fine to a persons house so we could do some more testing. After trying different TCM/Gauge cluster I then decided to place back old TCM in. In that process the fuel pump fuse blew. Replace that and Jeep turned on. Did reset ECM again before finding out fuse blown Drove to Advance again to scan codes. That's where I got the title codes. P0700, P0740, P1694 and the O2 codes. On the drive back to the house no stalling.
So right now I am lost and don't want to cause more issues. What is going on? Is there a part? Wire? Etc to replace?

Stay away from AAMCO. That P0740 is for a fault in the torque convertor clutch (TCC solenoid) circuit. AAMCO says its not transmission related? Fail. Its a transmission trouble code lol. The P0700 is a generic transmission trouble code that means the TCM encountered a fault with something related to the transmission. So a P0700 could be anything, but because the P0740 popped up, that narrows it down. Somewhat.
P0740 CHRYSLER - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit
Possible causes - Low transmission fluid level - Dirty transmission fluid - Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve - Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness or connectors - Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted
These are for the TCM should you need them. The TCM is on the driver side of the dash by your right leg. Small silver box. If your probes are too big, use safety pins.
For the P1698 or P1694, i would remove and clean the engine grounds. Those codes pertain to the commincations BUS, which is how all the modules communicate. A bad ground can take it down. The pic below is just to show you what is on it. Lots of stuff.
