Question P0432 OBD2 Code

Hello I am new to this forum and new to owning a jeep. My Cherokee Sport 01 threw a OBD2 code P0432 main catalyst below operating threshold (bank 2). I changed the downstream O2 sensor nearest the firewall as that seems to be Bank 2 Sensor 2. but light came back on after a few weeks and might replace the upstream one aswell but am realy just guessing. The Cat could be bad as I have 104,000 miles on this car. Has anyone else had this code and or have an idea of how to fix it.
Thanx in advance
Mike

usually that code means you need a new converter

I would say you need a new converter, everytime i see cat below threshold codes it means the converter has failed

Default New Cat

That was quick.
I think you are both right but my next problem is my car although from Chicago is an LEV or Low Emmisions Vehicle Legal in California (according to sticker under hood) and I think that means I have to get a special type of cat or I will trip the frigging cel light again and or it will not fit. I would love to use an after market part. It looks like a bolt on job no welding cutting etc if I can get a direct fit. I have a dual cat setup just after manifold three pipes for each.
