Thanks. I've gotta bake the valve cover at 200* for an hour to cure the wrinkle paint before actually bolting it on. My grill isn't big enough so gotta go to the neighbor's for that.

Looks like he has more pressing maintenance issues to address first. Didn't you say you had an old Duralast sensor to play with?

??? Can't you just drive up your hill and "tent" your engine, (maybe with the foil from your hat), and let engine heat do it? I mean, unless you have access to an unusually large oven.

You can actually install it and run the engine to cure the paint. But, I want it cured before installation.

I was thinking of figuring how many degrees a second pickup might have, "snuggled" by the stock. Double pole, double throw switch.

A little fileing on the shoulder might getm' within 1/2 an inch.

Follow my write-up and do the mod, documenting it with photos I can steal.

Will do! (Jeff and I will be rich! I smell the money already).

I did a quick measurement. "3/8 from the bolt hole" seems to be about 1/2in. advance. Have you/are you running any like that? And...does it ping (on regular/87 Octane) AND...have you run it with the knock sensor unplugged?

If I run two with a DPDT switch, I suppose it should turn on the water injection when switching to "highway/advanced".
