In my opinion when having cooling system issues it seems only right to know when all items were replaced. When I got my Jeep the previous owner said he just replaced the water pump, I took it off and it had a lot of play and the fins had been corroded.

Even if you replaced the entire cooling system it can be done well under $200 for everything. It's not a lot of money when you think about other parts cost.

I'd say water pumm, maybe the thermostat and a good flush and see where you at. Always make sure to burp the system. There was a Guy on here the other day that had to squeeze his lower hose and let go and the overflow bottle would bubble he did it till it stop and his cooling issues went away.

I wouldn't be worth a flip as a automotive technician, they're at lot smarter than I am.......and that's why my advice from experience is free.

Well gents it wasnt my water pump Its the power wire from the elctric fan is bad as a result the fan is a dud. Instead of ripping apart the wiring I just decided to do a manual switch for it so its gonna be an on and off affair no PCM interference. I drove it around and once it hit 220 I turned on the fan and it seems to stay there at a constant level now. Ill take some pics later.

Ran into a similar problem awhile back (closed system) and discovered the cap for the reservoir was cracked.
