Default Overhead Console Help

Plan in replacing the headliner in the next couple weeks so I went out to the junkyard to look for a rear soundbar. No luck on the soundbar but did come across an overhead console. Score!!! So $40 bucks later had the console, the wire harness for it and the sun visors with mirrors/lights. After I got home I started reading on how to install it and noticed I didn't grab the outside temperature sending unit. I would go back to get it of the Cherokee I got the console from but it was hit in the front an nothing is left of it. So where could I find this guy and where could I get the harness for it? I read it connects to a connector located behind the battery but I need the sensor and harness. Anything else I may need to get this bad boy going?

Now will I need a harness for this bad boy or should my Cherokee have the pre existing harness tucked away as it didn't come with an overhead console?

Well I pulled the Overhead console apart last night and it looks like the display screen may be blowen out. Looks like as if a fuse blew. Anyways gonna hook it up tomorrow to see if even turns on. Should it not turn on, anyone have a link or part number to replace it? Thanks!

How did the install work out?

I recently grabbed the light up vanity mirror/visors and Console from a 1990 Wagoneer. The visors are mechanical match, just need to tap into the pink wire that runs to reading lights to power them. Not sure about the Overhead Console though. I did grab the harness leading from console down to connectors on passenger side kick panel. But when I looked under my actual kick panel, there is only 1 connector that matches, and wiring + wire colors are different. Not sure if its for console or not. Looked online at 1993 sport & did not see Overhead console listed as option offered at time.

I have it done it yet. The material I purchased to use as a headliner isnt going to work so the project is on a temporary hold until i decide what to use. I'll take pics and what not when I get to the install. I havent even looked at my kick panel to see if the connections are there. Just kind of assumed they would be.

I grabbed those. Luckily those and the wire harness were still up there when I grabbed it. Moving this weekend so I hope next weekend is nice so I can get the headliner, new over console and new sound bar all up mounted. I'll be sure to post pics and what not when I do the job.
