Outer window glass wipe/seal?
Got a 99 xj, ----previous owner managed to remove the window wipe on the passenger side, --lets cold air and water in . Check vendors and they have the moldings for xj's up to 96.---------quadratrack has them for $9.99 (96).
Found another vendor and they had same looking strip for the 97-2001 for $84.
For crying out loud it's just a piece of rubber molding about 18" long.
Is there that much difference in the years?
Don't use the door that much as I'm usually the only person in the rig. Would like to have the molding, but at that price I'm tempted to just get some type of rubber and stick it in there and not roll the window down
Any thoughts?

$9.99 is a very reasonable price in my opinion. I'd been searching all over for a drivers side outer window belt (wipe) for my 90 Cherokee 2 door. The cheapest one that I found was $24.99 until I stumbled across one on the Quadratec website for $9.99.
It's not just a hunk of rubber either. It's actually a strip of metal that is covered with rubber. On my door, there are 3 metal clips that hold the belt in place and with it missing, they rub and scratch the window.

Anyway, called a Jeep dealer and he had a hard time finding what I wanted so I'll give him my Vin# today. Also have a line on another one that just might fit. We'll see!

Oh.........must have misread that.
My issue is with the window channel run. I can find them for a 4 door all day long but I'm having no luck finding the 2 door without paying an arm and a leg for them.

Try here, but $9.99 seems to be the best price that I have found. http://www.jeep4x4center.com/outer-g...-55135206.html

I did find one on ebay---it was taken off of a 98 xj, so it should fit just fine and it was priced right--$15 including shipping.
Dealer wanted $80 plus tax
