I am hoping to get some folks opinions before I purchase this XJ.

It's a 97 with about 214k miles on it.

I went and looked at it today. It looks good from what I can tell. (Though, I am not a mechanic in any way) It has a brand new battery, damn-near new tires all around, and a new alternator.

The asking price is $2300, the guy said he could go as low as $2k.

What do you think? Good deal? Or should I keep looking?

is it 4x4 or 2wd and see if they will take 2000 for it the wind shield will only be about 100 to 200 to replace. if it not to far go take a look and a test drive i would buy it as long as it drives and run's ok

 

So I went ahead and bought this XJ. Picked it up yesterday.

Paid $1800 cash for it.
