opinion on bored tb

Depends on what other mods have been done to the motor.
Openingup the bottom of a stock TB is fairly common and will provide a mild peformance increase.
Stuffing a 68mm TB onto a stock motor isn't going to do much other than empty your wallet.

i read somewhere that you can bore out a stock throttle body to 65mm, and bore the intake to match....is this true? and if so will a stock H.O. motor with K&N, Headers, high flow cat and cat back see and performance or will i loose torque over it?

While researching this subject myself this site was mentioned to me. He has stock bored TB's to 63mm and matching TB spacers. Both seem like a worthwhile mod so I'm going to be doing this next month. Prices are pretty good too.
