I am probably going to put my header on tomorrow. To get home I am going to either run an open header or ghetto fab my old exhaust into something somewhat functional. This will be to get me home from work, and when I get some money together, to exhaust pros.
I've got a few questions. Can I use a regular nut as an O2 sensor bung? If I'm unable to fab an exhaust will I burn anything up going open? Can I use a HO gasket on a Renix head? TIA I'll try and post some pics during and after the install.

Always use the gasket that is for your manifold or you can have vacuum leaks at the intake ports.

Ok and should I drive it around after I torque everything down and then torque it all again when it's hot?
