Bought this line for my 97 XJ, over a year ago. Not sure from who. It was listed as fitting 94-98 YJ/XJ/ZJ (ebay, Amazon, and elsewhere said the same). It said XJ so i assumed i was good to go. Not knowing any different, i assumed they all used the same line, so i bought it. I was about to pull the old line this morning (projects take time) but thought id mock the new line up first to see how to snake it in. Just looking at them side by side, it will NOT FIT XJ!!! Omix-Ada is WRONG!!! Its not even close to fitting. Its way too short, and none of the bends match. The line on my XJ is original, btw. I ended up on Amazon, and another buyer said it did not fit his 98 XJ. Another said it was good, but did not say if they had a YJ, XJ, or ZJ, so its a useless review. I almost missed this next bit as i always scroll straight to the reviews, like most do, then saw this:

"This replacement front fuel supply line fits 94-98 Grand CherokeeZJ models equipped with the 4.0 liter engine. It runs from the frame rail mounted fuel supply line to the fuel rail. Replaces OE 52127633."

Nothing about YJ. Nothing about XJ. Atleast not there. At the top of the listing tho, it mirrors what is on the label.

The label on the packaging clearly reads 94-98 YJ/XJ/ZJ.




So i checked Omix-Adas website. At the bottom i see the following:

Cherokee 1994-1998
Wrangler 1994-1995

It says Cherokee. But nothing about XJ or ZJ. Just 'Cherokee'. This is why parts stores ask if you have a regular Cherokee, or a Grand Cherokee.

At the time i bought the line, i did not own a parts catalog. I do now. A 97-98 XJ parts catalog. The part number for a 97-98 XJ is 52127896, not 52127633 as Omix-Adas label shows. This is whats in the parts catalog:




Quadratecs website is also incorrect as it mirrors whats on the label. Ignore the review. The reviewer does not say if it was for a YJ, XJ, or ZJ, therefore its a useless review. It helps no one! > https://www.quadratec.com/p/omix-ada...zj-wrangler-yj

Omix-Ada 17732.30 does NOT FIT 97-98 XJ. If you have a 97-98 XJ, this is NOT the line you want. Wish i knew now what i didnt know then.

I Googled Mopar 52127896, and this is what popped up.



Omix-adas isnt even close.

 

Omix always seems to be a ****show when it comes to anything other than old CJs. Their parts quality also seems to be subpar generally speaking. Whats sad is they may one day be our only option for parts.

 

This is 17732.30 (or 52127633). Compare this with the pic of 52127896 from my previous post. The two lines are night and day. Its not rocket science. And i did find my receipt. Bought it from Quadratec on Oct. 13, 2017. The vehicle fitment link, which i used, is incorrect.
