Default OME Shock specs?

I need to replace the shocks on my '98 sport 4x4. I've been looking online and noticed that stock replacement shocks come in different lengths, 20" and 21" extended lengths. Which one is the correct length? I'm looking at Monroe Sensa-trac w/ 21" extended length.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the link,
I gave it a look and didn't see the info I needed. It did say that stock hight w/out roof rack was 64". I' going to measure and see what mine is. Maybe I can draw some conclusions from that until I find the exact specs.

I found a post on this forum saying that at stock height all XJ's are 17" from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender. Mine is roughly that. I know it dosn't tell me the extended length of my shocks but if thatsthe case, it does tell me that my springs and leafs should be OK. I think I'll go with a shock that has an extended length of atleast 21" so I can do a 1-1.5" lift. I know the lift I want can be done with OME shocks but It seems to make sense to have a longer shock. It my not make any differance at all but for the same price, why not?
