Default older xj tow hooks/brackets on a 2001

I found some front tow hooks on an older model xj (early 90's) in a u pull it jy about 45 mins away... Will these brackets and hooks fit on my 01? If so i think it will be worth driving there and wrenching in the 15 degree weather...

any answers much appreciated thanks

I don't think there were any frame changes so I would say yes they should work.

jp magazine said they had to modify their front tow hook brackets but how they worded it didnt make sense...It seemed like they already had the brackets and went and got the rest of the tow hooks from the jy..

the bumper mounts were a tad different, so if anything youll just need to slice a little off the front and maybe drill a hole.
