Old Gray Mule surging problem is back!

Since we all last spoke or is it wrote I replaced the TPS. I have been driving my Cherokee around and it seems to be OK, except that the idle speed creeps up about 200 rpm's.
I removed the IAC/Idle Speed Stepper Motor and cleaned it. The idle still creeps up 200 rpm's as the engine warms up and then stays there.
Could I have turned the IAC pintle when I was cleaning it?
Second problem, now if I use the A/C I will experience my original surging problem intermitently.
I think the Cherokee is telling my that it wants to retire to the backyard and become a dog house.

I very much concur. Here is the last in my bag od anti-surge tricks and it sounds real stupid. Run a ground wire from one of the two IAC motor T-15 screws to a very good ground location. Use a 16 gauge or larger wire and see if an extra grount helps the surge to stay abated.
