Hey there. I’m getting ready for an engine swap and was lucky enough to get a 4.0 to rebuild while I drive my jeep. Mine is an auto and the one I will be installing is a manual. I took the clutch off and I was wondering if I could sell it. The issue is that it got wet and is rusty. Is that something that will just burn off with use or is that a no go. Is it garbage or can I sell it? And if so for how much?
thanks.
thanks.

As long as the pressure plate and flywheel surfaces are in good shape, I'd just pitch the old clutch disk. The last thing you want to do it have to pull the transmission again if something isn't working with the old clutch disk.
