Default ok im stuck with a transmission issue i think

I have a 92 Cherokee 4×4 with the automatic tranny I'm having a issue with what I think is a transmission problem. So here it goes. When I'm driving and hit a pot hole or bump it feels like it slips or down shifts. The engine goes up 200 to300 rpm. It mostly does this at highway speeds. It still pulls great and doesn't do it for long just a second or two. I feel like its downshifting because when it does it and I push the gas it keeps pulling fine. But it just started last week and its starting to do it around town now. Not all the time it does it mostly at highway speeds. I have changed filter and fluid and adjusted the cable under the hood ( as per instructions I found on here) but its still doing it what else could this be. Is it even the tranny. Please help I'm out of ideas and stuck

Could be the the brake switch which is what deactivates the torque convertor lock up. Might be adjusted wrong or failing.

Easy way? Look up under the dash and find the switch at the pivot point of your brake pedal.

Also, you could try holding the brake pedal up with your left foot and hitting some bumps and see if it quits doing it.
