Default Ok electrical isue...

Ok I need a little direction here cause this has me baffled...Here's the situation...

Started the Jeep up today and noticed that the power door locks didn't work, power mirror remote adjustment no workie, no I could solve that as a switch issue or something but here's the weird part...When I press the door lock switch my clock blanks out, press the power mirror adjuster clock blanks out, open door clock blanks out.. So I am assuming that something is grounding out somewhere but I have no idea where to even start since all three of these are on seperate circuits..So I am not sue exactly where I should start looking..

Got to love electrical Gremlins... I had a problem with my wifes Blazer.. while driving the interior light would come on and off... After chasing wires I found it to be a shorting lumbar switch on the side of the drivers seat.

Good luck...

You sir have a long row to hoe. That can easily take all day to trace but that is going to be your best bet unless you have a schematic that will help you find a common link between those different components. My Renix one doesn't appear to be helpful for a '91 but it has to be something common to all the seperate components. Might be a ground issue where the ground is not sufficent and here is feedback to the other things.
OKC try grounding each component with a seperate, permanent ground and see if that cures the problem.
Let us know.

Yep didn't have time today to tackle it was busy working on some school stuff online and around the house doing some honey do's.. Anyways It's on my list for tomorrow so looks like a full weekend of installing a lift and finding an electrical issue...I am going to study some wiring schematics from the 93's electrical layout and my chiltons..

Don't we all wish that. Weather is a big factor in many repairs and upgrades to our Jeeps.
If you hit the Lottery women want a new house and we want a big well appointed garage with a lift and tools.

Keep us up to date on the lift OKC.

Ok someone please smack me...I swear I looked at every single fuse today on this electrical issue..I must have missed a it or it blew later on but either which way it fixed my issue..uhg I swear I checked this fuse to...

Just to add...only reason I went back through my fuses was after studying the wiring diagrams for all the things that seemed affected lead me to believe it couldn't be a ground and since everything had power, proper voltage and resistance had to be something else in the route that wasn't getting power and had to be causing a short in the path somewhere..anyways I hate wiring diagrams..reminds me of why I dropped comp science and engineering in school...
