Default OK to Drive on Bent Front Sway Bar Links?

So, I bent my front sway bar links while wheeling, and boy can I feel it. Anywhere about 35mph the front end has a noticeable wiggle to it, especially as I reach 55mph and up. Anyways I've got new links in the mail, but they won't arrive for another week. Is it safe to drive on my bent sway bar for the next week, or will that screw something up?

Maybe give more info about your jeep and how the link got bent. Ive driven 65 with no sway bar and had a smooth ride

Its a mostly stock XJ, with a 2" lift I installed a few months ago.

Not sure exactly how it got bent, I hit some mud holes and some rocks real hard at an off-road park, I figure it happened there.

I'm sure if I removed it the ride would be very smooth, but its the front sway bar so that's a little dangerous.

i say remove it and go for a test drive somewhere you're use to driving. Make sure you didn't mess a TRE or the TB up

Because the sway bar really only controls body roll, something else is fubared.

I took a look around and I don't see anything amiss besides the sway bar, the tie rod is straight and everything else looks normal, but then again everything is fossilized in mud so I could be missing something.

Does anyone have some guesses as to what if damaged might cause a wobbly feeling? Its hard to describe, isn't the sort of ordinary steering wheel shake, but a definite subtle wobbling up-down felt throughout the vehicle.

can you pressure wash it somewhere and take it to an alignment shop? they should tell you about everything that is wore out. that's what i would do atleast, or just jack it up and wiggle stuff
