Default oilpan gasket?

what is the easiest way to take off the old gasket from the pan, what solvents could i use that would make it easier?

wire brush on a die grinder, you'll be done in no time.

I used a chisel. If this is the first time you have done this, the factory gasket petrifies and turns to freakin' granite.

Scrape it off with a straight scrapper...Tj
