Which oil should I choose?
So tomorrow I am going to be changing the fluids in my front and rear differential along with the transfer case. My questions are as follows: I heard I need to use a full synthetic oil for the differentials correct? Also which would be a good kind of oil? Same question for the transfer case? Full synthetic? Also should I go ahead and replace the gaskets in the front and rear diff or should I just use some RTV? Suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated as this is going to be my first time doing this. Thanks

Gotta know what your make, model, etc., is. What do you have for a trany, trans, axles, etc. Cant use auto trany fluid in a manual and vice versa.

Sorry! I have a 2000 jeep cherokee XJ with an automatic transmission and I believe I have the 8.25 chrysler rear differential. Please let me know if you need any more information thanks!
