Default Death Wobble/Shake NOOB needs help

So ive been reading the other threads about the DW. I have a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

I have a 01' Cherokee Sport 4wd completely factory only 114,000 miles that ive owned for 4 years. About a month ago I was getting a nasty popping and cracking noise when I turn my wheels(Seems to stop while/after a good rain) that lasted about 2 weeks. All of the sudden it stopped, so I didnt worry about it. Well last week I was riding down the highway and at about 50-55 I got the worst damn shake Ive ever felt in my life so I pulled over. Started back and it happened again except this time it started shaking so bad it busted the passenger side window, the window was half way down. Ive never felt anything like this. It shakes so bad I cant control the vehicle. the shake seems to start in front then make its way to the back

Not sure the two are related, what yall think. I do need new tires and alignment job so im gonna start there. Then ill move onto the ball joints if that doesnt work. I dont think its the wheel bearings cause I jacked it up and their is no play in the wheel. And I dont think its the front driveshaft because I replaced and balanced.

According to the other threads it could be:
Steering stabilizer
trac bar/bushings
Tie rods
Control Arms
idler pulley ball joints
sway bar/links

Any advice is welcomed

Also is their a diagram that shows what is what under the front end. I dont know what trac bars, sway bars, idler pulleys, and tie bars are. i do know control arms, i think.

The alignment should be done AFTER the ball joints and steering linkage have been dealt with.

It could be any of those..... Except steering stabilizer. Please dont start with replacing that, while a new one may make DW go away, its a band-aid.

My DW was cause from Tie Rods, I replaced them all, then ball joints, and i threw in a stabilizer last. i would say start with tires and making sure they are balanced, but im not thinking the case since you said you have been hearing something click and pop. get under there and scope things out.

Had death wobble multiple times for a period of time after purchasing new 37" tires. Company I bought them from installed and balanced them...

Each time after a DW incident I would go back to place of purchase & they would claim that the tires were again balanced. This went on about four distinct times. Spent a lot of money & time, in between occurrences, chasing down the problem, while the shop kept insisting the tires were balanced. Just b 4 giving up on the tires I had the tire manufacturer's local shop try & balance them...Nailed it!

Turns out the "techs" at place that installed them never came close to proper balancing. I have not had an issue since.

FWIW u might want to consider checking your tires for imbalance.

Well how can you tell if a trac bar, sway bar, tie rod etc needs to be replaced?

Tires could be goose egged. I had three go at the same time on my 951. Worse shaking I have ever had!
