oil presure gauge stopped working

On OLDER XJ's the cigarette lighter is on the same circuit as the radio.
Don't believe me?
Here's a test you can do to determine if yours is wired that way.
Turn your XJ on (Starting is not necessary)
Turn the radio on.
Push in the cigarette lighter and wait for it to POP. Then push it back in and hold it for 1 minute.
If your radio stops working, your cigarette lighter is wired on the same circuit as the radio.
NOW crawl under the dash and replace the 10A fuse you just BLEW.
Don't believe me?

Oh i believe you. In fact, I'm also positive its on the same circuit. The question is what do you do when both don't work and the fuse is not blown? For me all three stopped working the exact same time (oil gauge, radio, cigarette lighter). Three diffrent repair shops took a look and couldn't find the problem.
Is it OK for me to ask in this thread or should i start my own asking it?.
